Survey Result - Earning $1,000 a month online is number 1
Late last week we publish a survey as part of our process plan to launching a completely new internet business club in nigeria. In marketing, it is good to listen to the ‘market’. That is exactly what we did and it has open our eyes to a lot of things about our audience.
If we are to go by the result of this survey what it probably means is that average nigerian internet entrepreneur (or newbies) will be ok earning $1,000 a month within next three month. This amount may be pea-nut to some but extra N120,000 a month consistently is not a joke at all.
Anyway let quick go through the result of our survey together.
We first announce the survey on Thursday. 92 people have already filled the form as at yesterday night.
35.2% started looking for a way to make money online in only 6 month, 37.5% have been for about 2yrs, 19.3% have been trying for about 5yrs and only 8% said they’ve been trying for over 5 years.
10% earns above a million naira and above annually already, 14.4% earns between N500,000 and N1million, 23.3% earns between 250,000 and N500,000 while 22.2% earns above N100,000. However, 30% said they have no job.
6.6% said they will be ok if they can make between $500 and $1,000 every month within next 3 to 6 months. 20.9 % prefer $10,000 or above. Majority (42.9%) choose $1,000 above a month.
Above 45% are ready to invest $100 or more to launch their internet business.
Only 6 people skipped our question on what they would like to see on our new internet community. We will publish what 86 other people said they will like to see in next article.
On question of how much you will be glad to pay to get every information requested or more 35.6% prefer to pay N2,000 every month to access such information, 17.6% consider paying N7,000 every 6 months as choice while majority (47.1%) prefer paying N10,000 one time annual fee.
69.2 have their computer/laptop while 30.8% didn’t have either of the two.
Of 69.2% that has either desktop computer or laptop only 48.9% connected their pc/laptop.
Majority of those that respond to survey are ready to invest 5hrs a day to build their online business.

i am one of those that attended your virtual real estate empire on march 2007 .i have something which i am processing and that is where online marketers can to get theirdream domain name to match the content of their propose website.from that seminar one of the keypoint was that we could turnour various hobbies into a virual empire .for instance i have been selling newspaper closing to four and half yrs. and i am ready to bring my competence , experience , effective adcontent writing my intrerest lies in observation , and factfinding . presently, offline i have discover a vacum that has to be filled which is daily pm stockreport news either in publication or online. another one that am developing is online database of corporate companie in nigeria with their contact .i discoverthis vacum while i was searching for contact of etisalat nigeria the latest entrant to the gsm sector in nigeria..meanwhile when is the internet club taking off precisely bcos i am hungary for change coupled with action driven result oriented. thanks

the survey really shows that its not just about people being interested in internet / online business but they are also ready to invest time and money on it.

i think that $1000 monthly is not bad, considering the fact many of our youths are unemployed. this will go along way in putting food on our table, if the money is managed very well.
i will like to be a partaker too and dont want to be left out.

For me, instead the one time #10.000,00 will stop many to benefit from it o k to allow it to be paid #2,000.00 monthly to allow all to partake from it.

As you said the survey will re oriente and re focus majority of us if the buz can right access and user friendly for those that have knowledge of technical known how of making money on net without much problem.

I think what’s best is to work with a team that’s ready to invest and have indicated what level of risk they are willing to take.
I am one of those you will work with, but their has to be a way to create a meeting point for team members to discuss and relate.

this is anoble idea and in line with fss 2020 of the govt which is achieveable through job creation and the money should be pegged at 2000 monthly instead of 10000 onetime payment thanks for your concern about making money online.
